Salt Pond Visitor center and Coast Guard Beach

This area is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. We looked around the visitor center for a while, then walked the boardwalk to the beach . The trail goes over a saltwater marsh teeming with birds, and ends at the beach. Occasionally seals are spotted here but we didn't see any. The water was much colder than the bay beaches and the current was very strong. Thankfully Sarah and Josiah were content to play in the sand.
